We have full time (day) opportunities for physical therapists to join our growing team comprised of over 60 physical, occupational, and speech therapists. We provide direct patient care throughout the continuum beginning at the acute care hospital, our state-of-the-art 18-bed acute rehabilitation unit, and our expanding outpatient therapy program.

• EksoNR is a Robotic Exoskeleton designed to help patients stand and walk during rehabilitation. EksoNR promotes correct movement patterns in all phases of recovery and challenges patients as they progress toward independent ambulation. Westchester Medical Center is the first program in the NYC suburbs to offer the EKSO NR in an acute rehabilitation unit.  
• The Armeo Power is the world’s first commercially developed robotic exoskeleton for upper extremity rehabilitation. The six actuated degrees of freedom allow training in an extensive 3D workplace.  
• The REAL System: This is an advanced rehabilitation technology wearable device using virtual reality (VR) that offers therapeutic activities developed with extensive input from rehabilitation experts. This virtual reality device is designed to empower patients with engaging therapeutic activities that offer endless possibilities.
• 4D motion sensors– Designed to track and monitor patients’ data in a quick, meaningful, and purposeful way to further enhance recovery. 

Our 895-bed academic hospital in Valhalla, NY, provides residents with acute-care services – Level I trauma and burn care, organ transplants and advanced neurovascular procedures and more – found nowhere else in the region.
