MidHudson Regional Hospital and HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley have excellent opportunities for you to join our teams.
Psychiatric Social Worker/LMHC – MidHudson Regional Hospital – will provide clinical, substance abuse, mental health, and social services to assigned patients. The mental health therapist will also act as a liaison between the hospital and community service providers and between the patient, family, and the team. To be considered, we require:
- Experience in mental health or related field
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW), mental health counseling (MHC) or related field from an accredited program
- NYS Department of Education license or limited permit license to practice as an LMSW, LCSW or LMHC
Medical Social Worker – MidHudson Regional Hospital – bring your proven track record of providing psychosocial assessments of patient/families, psychosocial counseling to patients and families through individual, group and/or family modalities with minimal supervision and coordination, upon referral, the discharge planning function in collaboration with the team members to MHRH. To be considered, we require:
- Master’s degree in social work from an accredited graduate school of social work
- New York State Social Work License required
- Two years of post-graduate experience in a medical, mental health, or human services setting as a member of a multidisciplinary team
