CARE Connections

The purpose of this program is to:

  • Retain employees

  • Develop leaders

  • Attract new workforce members

The mentoring partners will set three realistic goals using a SMART Goal formula and create an action plan for the mentoring program/relationship. This will bring focus at the beginning of the relationship, which will help the pairing get off to a good start.

All participants will meet monthly with Workforce Development to support and answer questions during this 6-month journey. Pairings will meet for 1-2 hours per month. During these meetings, pairings will learn and build relationships while increasing networking opportunities. 

 

Our CARE Connections program includes:

  • A mentor orientation
  • Monthly WebEx meetings with Workforce Development
  • A mentorship program resource guide for all program participants
  • Worksheets and other resources supplied by Workforce Development to facilitate conversation
  • A mentorship accountability agreement
